lucid in a dream, a light beckoning,

looked at me quite quizzically,
how do you see, how do you do,
how do you know this is true,
what makes you me, makes me you,
memory tries to construe,

crystalline, plasticine molds of me,
crack and disperse, erased and replaced,
and I'm laughing at nothing,
drifting complacently, eat your cake,
dine on remains, die in the reigns,
and over again,

the council of owls apploud quite loud,
as the man cowers in his shroud,
two blocks down a clown and his hound,
bow before the crown, the beast then cuts abound,

porcelain, whitening, teething,
looming below, swallow you whole,
it's distant, yet unsettling,
marching and pouting, know your place,
don't dive too deep, stay asleep
